And the pacing is something I was really trying to do differently than most.

But, hey Jim man, lay off of Lee. This book needs all the fans I can get. Don't turn him off before he gets a chance to read the damn thing! :P

Seriously - you guys don't know how much your comments mean to me.

ChipChiphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03753185503065174474noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33311991.post-12677030037988581712007-05-27T21:20:00.000-04:002007-05-27T21:20:00.000-04:00Chip-It's great to hear from you! Jim has done nothing but speak highly of your book every chance he gets (and between you and me... it gets old) BUT while I don't have it yet I will soon. I am looking forward to reading it.

LeeAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33311991.post-40679537163076436022007-05-27T21:19:00.000-04:002007-05-27T21:19:00.000-04:00WHAT? It just feels like every page was put together so well and just really moves the story.

Look forward to issue #3 and I'll check out the link.Jimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00352163584546054887noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33311991.post-38033154793904836362007-05-27T14:20:00.000-04:002007-05-27T14:20:00.000-04:00Thank yo so much for the kind words on issue 2. Just to clarify on the pacing - I defintiely wrote this with a specific pacing in mind - but I cannot stress the importance of Francesco's contribution to the book. His innate understanding of what I was trying to accomplish has brought the project to whole new level. A writer of a comic does not work in a vaccuum.

Again, I am so glad to read your response to this issue. You totally got what I was trying to do and...that is so gratifying to me.

PS: I talk more about pacing and working on issue #1 in an Inside Look over to Broken Frontier:

http://www.brokenfrontier.com/lowdown/details.php?id=849Chiphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03753185503065174474noreply@blogger.com
