I still believe there is hope for the future, but unfortunately I believe we're going to see things get a lot worse before they get better.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33311991.post-1156970322576744092006-08-30T16:38:00.000-04:002006-08-30T16:38:00.000-04:00Matthew - You're welcome.Matthew - You're welcome.Jimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00352163584546054887noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33311991.post-1156965973912480412006-08-30T15:26:00.000-04:002006-08-30T15:26:00.000-04:00By the way, thanks for the link. I agree. Our country has changed for the ...Bravo! I agree. Our country has changed for the worse I fear. Neighbors don't know each other and don't help each other out(I realize I'm speaking generally). Our education system fell victim to liberal, blank slate theory. No one is better than anyone else. Everyone is equally special, making no one special. This combined with teaching for the test so No Child Is Left Behind has helped in turning out a generation of dunderheads. Our legal ststem is a joke. Confess to a crime you didn't commit and you get to fly home first class, free of charge, dining on champagne and caviar as you cross the ocean. You get your 15 minutes and make a book deal so you can get the money to pay for the sex change you always wanted. The little girl's murder remains unsolved as the taxpayers get left with the bill. Our political system is a disaster. You want to hold political office you better be a millionaire. Use your personal fortune to buy your seat in Congress. Then it's playground politics as teh Dems and Repubs throw mud at each other without doing a thing to make the country a better place. <BR/>Apathy has taken hold of our nation and I fear that outrage has died. Let's keep hoping that tomorrow will bring a brighter day, but without strong, unifying leadership it won't happen.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
