There is soooo much dialogue lifted directly it's unbelievable. But, that said, the show cannot capture all the nuance of the book. I have no experience of it but it called to mind The Walking Dead, where the TV version is not paralleling the source material at all. It has the grounding but is taking different paths, which works because I don't think I'd want to see the same story I already read in the comics.
