So I finished Children of Men and I realized something. After reading comic books for years, regular books exhaust me.
I think the problem isn't that I am acclamated to the 10 min comic book read, it's that I don't have the time to waste on a bad book.
For example, CoM wasn't bad, but I was ready for it to be pover 30 pages prior to the actual ending. Those 30 pages took away from reading more quality things. If a comic is bad, then I am done so quickly that it isn't a problem because I can quickly move to the next book.
Most likely, because CoM didn't thrill me it will be a couple of months before I read another without pictures.
Oh well... the review is below.
