Fight For Freedom, 1949.
Ok, I know nothing about this book. It's a public service announcement about the 4th of July so it's the lead off book this week.

Oddly enough for a comic that is almost 20 yrs old, this seems more timely than ever.
This is new to me but I think this is the best of the bunch at summing up what it's all about.

That's one freaky looking kid on that National Comics cover. He looks more like a vetriloquist's dummy than a person. I think it's the eyes. Why won't they stop boring into me?
ReplyDeleteI have a copy of that "Fight For Freedom" book. Years ago, Overstreet used to list that book but I can't find it now. Been out of the hobby for years. Has Overstreet stopped listing giveaways or something?
ReplyDeleteOverstreet still lists many of the give aways but maybe not all. The shear number of books published makes me believe some of the rarer ones (like FFF) are getting left out.
