Women In Comics

I found this article a long time ago, but it never seemed like the right time to publish it. That was until today. With all the mutterings and sputterings over DC's latest announcement, it's good to read about companies that are trying different things.

It's even better to read about a woman working, and succeeding, in comics.

Originally published in December 2010, this is about Nancy Silberkleit and how she suddenly became the head of Archie comics. It talks about what she had to do to succeed. And, just as importantly, how she realized there is still a strong market for Archie books and what she is doing to find it. A great piece, just click on the picture and it will be big enough for you to read all the text.
